We have an exciting opportunity available to join our team on a full-time permanent basis as a Business Development Manager – Power Generation.

The Business Development Manager – Power Generation is responsible for growing existing accounts, acquiring new accounts and providing technical prescription for Nexans complete product and services offering in the Renewable Energy sector.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own and maintain the sales opportunity pipeline, contacts, and visit activities.

  • Manage and extend a network of prospects.

  • Develop a coherent commercial and technical sales approach.

  • Develop sales by growing existing and developing new accounts in line with Commercial Policy.

  • Provide technical advice and respond to end-customer project needs.

  • Propose prices and quantities on prescribed offers.   

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualification in Engineering and/or relevant Trade skill.

  • Proven prior experience in a similar role.

  • Industry market experience highly desirable.

  • Strong sales and commercial acumen.

  • Ability to communicate with confidence and influence at all levels.

  • Ability to negotiate effectively.

  • Strong orientation to business development
