About the Role
We’re looking for a International Sales Manager to open, develop, and structure Modjo’s international sales, with a strong initial focus on the UK market.
This is a foundational and high-impact role: you’ll join at a pivotal moment and will have real ownership over international revenue, go-to-market strategy, and early team structuring.
Your mandate is clear: generate international revenue and pipeline, with a strong focus on the UK market, validate a scalable go-to-market approach, and lay the foundations for long-term international growth.
Your Mission
1. Own international revenue development
- Generate significant international revenue, starting with the UK market
- Lead complex sales cycles with senior decision-makers, including CEOs, VPs Sales, CROs and Revenue leaders
- Personally own a portion of outbound prospecting while driving and prioritizing the focus of international BDRs toward the right targets and accounts
- Personally own discovery, closing, and negotiation on strategic international deals
2. Open and structure the UK market
- Refine ICP, messaging, and sales motion for the UK
- Adapt positioning to local market expectations and sales culture
- Test, learn, iterate quickly to identify what scales and what doesn’t
3. Act as a key connector between Sales, Product & Marketing
- Shape international positioning and messaging with Marketing
- Bring structured, actionable market insights to influence product priorities
- Ensure alignment between field reality and internal teams
4. Lead and mentor the first International AE
- Lead one International Account Executive initially, with a strong hands-on approach
- Coach by example and set a high performance bar
- Contribute to building the future international sales team
Success after 12 months means
- You have generated meaningful and recurring international revenue and pipeline
- The UK market is clearly opened, with a validated and repeatable sales approach
- You have closed strategic UK logos and built strong executive-level relationships
- You have laid the foundations for scaling international sales beyond the UK
- You are a recognized key contributor to Modjo’s international strategy
Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales with a strong closing track record
- Proven experience in opening new markets and/or entrepreneurial environments
- Strong experience closing large deals in the European market
- Deep understanding of the European and the UK B2B sales landscape
- Bilingual French / English (written and spoken)
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, high-energy closer mindset
- Natural leadership, oriented toward impact and performance
- Strong autonomy, proactivity, rigor, and prioritization skills
Bonus points if
- You have a strong knowledge and experience of the UK market already
- You have participated in building a sales team from scratch
- You have experience working closely with founders
