    Job description


    As Business Developer Lead for the cooling systems business unit, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales operation of the business unit. This will include setting sales goals, developing and implementing the business strategy, and creating the product marketing strategy.

    As a co-founder of the business unit, complete autonomy and an entrepreneurial mindset are necessary, along with a strong ownership in your reporting to the Metroscope executive committee.

    Your primary responsibilities (80%) will be :

    • Setting and achieving sales targets for the business unit with data-driven monitoring and reporting
    • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive growth
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners.
    • Personally engage in key account sales, business development, and ongoing customer success.
    • Conduct market research and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy.
    • Collaborating with the Product team and Data Science to design a strategic roadmap for the Business Unit
    • Building and managing a team of business developers, including hiring, training, and performance management

    You will also cover the following (20%) :

    • Managing the BU profit and loss (P&L) statement. This involves tracking and analyzing financial data, mainly revenue and expenses, to ensure the company operates within budget and meets sales targets.
    • Be an ambassador of Metroscope in the French Tech ecosystem and wihin the EDF Group.

    Preferred experience

    • Experience: 5+ years of documented success in enterprise software sales or business technology products and services as an individual contributor.
    • A strong entrepreneurial drive
    • An appetite for technical problems and an interest for industrial environements
    • Do-it-yourself mentality with strong autonomy
    • Fluency in French and English.
    • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
