As a Senior Product Designer you’ll work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to build products that offer a delightful experience to their users.

Responsibilities and Duties :
• Understand Metron’s user personnas and their goals
• Research and refine usability pain points and current alternatives
• Prepare and run ideation and design workshops to refine usability problems and explore the most elegant solutions to solve them
• Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
• Create wireframes as well as high-fidelity interactive prototypes
• Design and run relevant user tests
• Find the best trade-offs with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure we deliver the best user experience possible with reasonable implementation costs
• Evangelize the design approach across Metron and ensure the design perspective is taken into account in our processes and decisions

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product/UX Designer working in an agile environment ;
• Previous experience in Energy, Data Visualization and B2B SaaS products is not required but is highly appreciated ;
• You are able to efficiently interact with end-users, product managers and engineers and adapt your communication to the target audience ;
• You are familiar with the concepts and methods of Design Thinking and are able to prepare and run relevant workshops when needed ;
• You are able to design best-in-class flows and interfaces and anticipate possible frictions ;
• You are able to autonomously plan and run user tests to validate your assumptions ;
• You are able to negotiate and influence efficiently ;
• You are able to promote, coach and instill a design approach/philosophy in organizations not familiar with the design mindset.
