Master Data Product Owner in Corporate HR Data & Analytics Office


Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Data Product Owner to join our Corporate HR Data & Analytics Governance Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the data management processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the HR department with accurate and reliable data for decision-making. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and consistency of HR data across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Master Data as a product: consider business needs, write/validate user stories, prioritize backlog and enhancements.
  • Own shared referential as single source of truth for end-to-end data integration using HR solutions (One Profile, One Payroll, Avature…) and Tibco EBX when needed
  • Develop and implement master data management strategies and policies (including RACI, timelines, workflows, documentation…) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness under the Group CDAO frame
  • Ensure mutualization of documentation across all HR Departments and systems (accessibility, methodology) using Data Discovery powered by Collibra
  • Drive any referential data change in collaboration with HR Data Excellence, HR Solution Leaders, HR Data Stewards (Learning, People Development, Talent Acquisition, Rewards…), HR Tech, and other departments
  • Accountable for Corporate HR referential data related to Global HR reporting (CSRD and HR Performance Management)
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity by conducting regular audits and validation checks, in collaboration with the HR Data Quality Lead
  • Provide training and support to HR staff on data management best practices and tools
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in master data management and data governance


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field, preferably within a corporate HR environment.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software, such as Tibco EBX, Collibra.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, SQL, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with data quality tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and their data requirements.
  • Stakeholder management: Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, understand their needs, and build consensus around data management initiatives. Experience in managing cross-functional relationships and driving alignment across different teams.
  • Process and solution design: Capability to create and implement data governance frameworks and workflows. Skills in developing user-centric processes that enhance data management efficiency and collaboration.
  • Change adoption activation: Ability to build and lead networks of key stakeholders to drive data management adoption across the organization. Skills in training and engaging users to embrace new data practices and tools.
  • Data tools management: Proficiency in using and administrating specialized data management and governance tools. Experience in implementing data monitoring and quality control systems.
  • Data curation: Expertise in organizing and maintaining master data, ensuring its quality, consistency, and accessibility across multiple systems. Ability to integrate and structure data to meet various business reporting needs.
