Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Account Executive will be responsible for lead generation in collaboration with the Marketing team, managing the sales cycle through to the closing, and account management (private/public waste collectors for household and professional waste) in the UK and Spain.
Sales Cycle Management
Define the prospecting strategy with the Head of Sales and the Marketing team (account mapping, identification of key contacts, and contact sourcing)
Identify and target new markets, potential clients, or promising segments
Manage the sales cycle: guide prospects through the entire sales process, from initial contact to the closing
Present solutions: organize product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Lixo
Negotiate and sign contracts: manage pricing discussions and sales terms to achieve commercial objectives
Monitoring and Strategy
Monitor sales KPIs: track commercial performance and goal achievement using a CRM (HubSpot)
Competitive intelligence: follow market trends and competitor actions to adjust sales strategies
Post-Sales Management and Collaboration with other teams
Manage customer relationships: conduct project follow-ups, present analysis reports, and maximize customer satisfaction to generate up-sell opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams: work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure a positive customer experience
Analyze customer needs: understand the specific challenges of prospects to tailor commercial proposals
Experience: You have 0,5 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Languages: You are fluent in English and Spanish at a professional level (minimum B2).
Skills:
You are results-driven, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate perseverance and rigor
You have experience working with large accounts and/or public sector organizations
You are comfortable speaking and capable of negotiating in both English and Spanish
You are a team player
Previous experience with a CRM tool (such as HubSpot or similar) is essential
Additional Requirements:
You have a strong interest in the circular economy and artificial intelligence.
You enjoy presenting and analyzing data to make recommendations to clients.
You have Excel skills and, ideally, some knowledge of SQL—or are eager to learn
