SUMMARY
Reporting to the divisional IT Infrastructure Manager, the entry level Systems Administrator helps manage the network, servers and general computer environment. Helps install, configure and support hardware and other systems pertaining to company requirements. Provides on-site technical support to all users. This person will continue to grow their systems administration skill set.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform basic system administration tasks; install servers, research warning and errors, monitor resources, etc.
• Work with divisional Infrastructure Manager and his team on sys admin related tasks.
• Assist with deployment and provisioning activities.
• May maintain and update system networking devices.
• Provide Desktop Support for the local users.
• Continue to grow Systems Administration skill set.
• Manage the server room and its components.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• 2 years’ experience on IT related job.
• Certificate in IT.
• Understand Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft products.
• Understand Group Policy.
• Enjoy working on servers and computers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals and legal documents. Must have excellent communications skills and possess the ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of top management.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plain and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge in Windows and Exchange servers. Have hardware experience with Cisco, Dell, HP, and UNIX security. A good understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and fundamentals, cable configurations, remote desktop and practical knowledge of Intel-based hardware. Ability to understand and administer operational and production support procedures.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
