We are looking for a Data Platform Enablement Engineer to join the our client’s – Data Platform Backoffice team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, deployment, enablement, and continuous improvement of a cloud-based data platform on AWS.

You will work at the intersection of cloud engineering, data engineering, and DevOps, helping teams efficiently leverage the platform while ensuring scalability, reliability, and governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based data platform components

• Enable and support data teams in using platform capabilities effectively

• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows

• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and platform automation initiatives

• Ensure data governance and security best practices (Lake Formation, IAM, etc.)

• Improve CI/CD processes and code quality standards

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, cloud engineers, DevOps, product owners)

• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement

Technical Environment:

• Cloud & Infrastructure: S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Lambda, Fargate, CloudFormation, CDK

• Data Engineering: Apache Airflow, Parquet, Apache Iceberg

• DevOps & Quality: Jenkins, SonarQube, Conda

• Software & Development: Python, Ruff

• 5–10 years of professional experience

• Strong background as a Cloud Engineer (AWS)

• Solid understanding of modern data platform architectures

• Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/CDK)

• Strong knowledge of data lake technologies and formats (Parquet, Iceberg)

• Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines

• Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD

• Comfortable working in Agile environments

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
