Wakam is looking for a Talent Acquisition Expert on a fixed-term contract for a duration of 3 months (with the possibility of extension), starting as soon as possible. This role can be located from UK or France.

Mission

The Talent Acquisition team is on a mission to identify and attract top-tier talent to drive our company's success. As strategic partners to hiring managers, we're dedicated to finding the perfect fit for each role by leveraging innovative sourcing methods and conducting rigorous evaluations :

  • Manage the full-cycle from creative and diversified sourcing strategy (job boards & sourcing methods, direct approach, internal and external referral network management) to complex closing
  • Be a true Business Partner with hiring leaders, be proactive in proposing and advising on all recruitment stages such as advice on interview best practices, refine processes and building diverse talent pools
  • Build a strong pipeline and engage talent via innovative ways
  • You are a storyteller, who can craft compelling messages for each candidate you meet. Provide a first-class experience to candidates, from the first contact to the closure of their onboarding
  • Manage relationships both with candidates and internal business partners to ensure a smooth process and exceptional candidate experience at all times
  • You will make sure all hiring reports (our ATS is GreenHouse) are accurate, keep hiring teams aware of pipeline updates and market trends
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent team like employer branding projects, AI implementation, etc.

Profile requirements

  • Similar experience, ideally in the insurance industry (actuary, underwriting, finance, reinsurance, compliance, etc. profiles)
  • Experience in recruiting in the French and UK markets
  • Fluent in English (French is a big plus)
  • Mastery of modern sourcing and selection techniques
  • Meticulous attention to detail along with an ability to work with high urgency and fast pace
