Role:

As a Computer and Network, you will play a vital role in managing KYRIBA's global network operations and computer infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the uptime of services and appliances across our Cloud Operation data centers. You will collaborate with the CoreInfra team on network projects, initiatives, routine tasks, and major quarterly projects, as well as participate in on-call shifts and incident resolution.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-level troubleshooting and analysis to resolve root causes of network outages.

2. Isolate hardware and software problems on network devices such as firewalls, switches, and routers, working with vendors to resolve issues.

3. Conduct proactive network audits to strategize software/firmware rollouts across the entire fleet.

4. Improve documentation processes to enhance network management and maintenance.

5. Collaborate with System Architects, Engineers, Product Managers, and System Administrators to meet their environment setup and service automation needs.

6. Collaborate with NetOps teams to proactively enhance network stability and reduce potential future outages.

7. Manage the Backup, NAS, and SAN systems, ensuring data integrity, availability, and disaster recovery readiness.

8. Participate in the migration of on-prem data centers to AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring a seamless and secure transition.

9. Work with Palo Alto and Juniper technologies to implement and maintain the network infrastructure.

10. Demonstrate knowledge of AWS Networking to support and optimize cloud-based services.

11. Assist with computer infrastructure management, including HPE (Blade), Cohesity, Pure, Netapp, Dell Unity, and some AWS knowledge.

Required Skills:

1. Proficiency in Linux CentOS & RHEL for managing computer systems.

2. Proficiency in Windows 2019 for managing computer systems.

3. Experience with leading network/compute/storage vendors/providers.

4. In-depth understanding of TCP, DNS, DHCP, and VMware ESXi hypervisor.

5. Hands-on experience in maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls.

6. Familiarity with VLANs, OSPF, BGP, Link Aggregation, and Site-to-site VPNs.

7. Knowledge of SNMP and network monitoring.

Preferred Skills:

1. Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS, and Route53.

2. Familiarity with Palo Alto and Juniper technologies for network infrastructure management.

3. Knowledge of computer infrastructure components, including HPE (Blade), Cohesity, Pure, Netapp, Dell Unity, and some AWS knowledge.

4. Knowledge of VMware WaveFront is a plus
