As an Investors Relationship (IR) Analyst you will be working with and supporting the IR team, building relationships and maintaining regular communication with key contacts throughout our banner and group functions.
What’s the job?
- Inputs to and provides analytics to support the preparation of press releases and presentations for quarterly trading updates, full & half year results.
- Assists with day-to-day maintenance of the investor website, ensuring published updates are accurate and on time and suggests improvements where relevant.
- Provides detailed background/history briefing notes on investors prior to meetings; assisting with production and maintenance of investor packs.
- Recording of meeting notes with investors.
- Maintaining the IR CRM tool, reviewing latest reporting options and recommending changes to our briefing reports, loading investor meetings, calls and notes to the CRM.
- Input into the preparation of the monthly IR Report for the Board.
- Updates the IR team and management on monthly material shareholder movements and trends.
- Assists with maintaining the Kingfisher financial model, including benchmarking vs peers
- Arranges internal planning meetings, booking venues for presentations, catering, transport, organizing webcasts and conference calls for global audiences, printing requirements, inviting attendees, registering attendees at the events.
- Obtains models and research notes from sell-side bank analysts.
- First point of contact for the IR team, taking initial calls, emails and directing as appropriate.
- Maintaining rolling IR calendar for the team, closely liaising with the PAs of the CEO and CFO to ensure that the IR calendar is aligned with management’s availability.
- Provides efficient and highly organised administrative support to the IR team.
- Builds excellent internal relationships across all levels of Kingfisher in order to facilitate the work of IR.
- Monitors and maintains the IR mailbox, actioning basic questions ranging from Annual Report or meeting requests and requests for information on the company and directing all other questions onto the IR team to respond to as appropriate.
What you’ll bring - Graduate level education.
- Must be financially literate, analytical with a meticulous attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
- Proficient / experienced at Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Professional studies likely to be underway or intention to do so (CFA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
- Highly organised with ability to multi-task, can use own initiative and work with projects on their own.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); can build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable in being able to network internally and liaise with external contacts in the investment community confidently.
