❤️ The B2B team
“Nothing stops them from getting the best deals for Joko users. The B2B team’s mission is to develop and grow Joko’s merchant network, and available offers.”
The B2B team is divided between our three business lines at Joko: Online, Card-Linked, and Gift Cards.
For the Online team, Account Managers are in charge of growing and managing our portfolio of e-commerce partners, directly with e-merchants or through our relationship with affiliate marketing platforms.
As for Card-Linked, our Sales team is in charge of signing Enterprise deals with top-tier retailers with physical stores, and Account Managers are in charge of growing long-lasting partnerships.
Finally, for the Gift Cards team, Account Managers are in charge of growing and managing the portfolio of brands and retailers, through relations with providers and in direct relationships with merchants.
Led by Nicolas, our CRO, we are a vibrant team full of energy! We work closely with other teams to give the best experience to our partners and build strong long-term relationships. We are a small but unstoppable squad that manages millions of euros in contracts thanks to our outstanding team members and a deep sense of camaraderie. We don't take ourselves too seriously and make sure that the journey is a blast!
About the Card-Linked Team
The Card-Linked team helps retailers acquire and retain customers by offering in-store offers to our 5M+ users, leveraging banking data to personalize each offer. We partner with around 100 top-tier French retailers (including Carrefour, Decathlon, Leroy Merlin, and Sephora) and have achieved 4× growth over the past three years.
About the Role
As Account Management Lead (Card-Linked), you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our existing partnerships. You’ll lead a team of three Account Managers (with the ambition to grow to six full-time hires), guiding them to deliver best-in-class results, identify new growth opportunities, and oversee key strategic projects that support our business objectives.
You’ll report to and work closely with the VP Card-Linked, collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Operations, Finance, Product, and Data teams to ensure strategic alignment and sustained growth.
To achieve this, you will:
Team leadership: hire, train, and develop a high-performing Account Management team. You will set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
Commercial excellence: support your team by taking part in key negotiations with our top partners; build strong and long-lasting relationships with our partners (CMOs and senior marketing stakeholders across retail and e-commerce).
Performance tracking: define and own the team’s revenue targets and OKRs. Partner with the VP Card-Linked to build quarterly plans and collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, ops, data) to drive execution.
Revenue operations: ensure we have all the right processes in place (revenue forecasts, CRM management, etc.) to keep growing with the right fundamentals; optimize cashed-in revenue. Work closely with Business Operations and Finance teams to develop and implement these processes.
Strategic projects: lead cross-functional initiatives to improve our partner value proposition, pricing models, and internal efficiency.
Preferred experience: at least 6-8 years of experience in business roles (client-facing roles in a startup or in the tech industry, in finance or in consulting), preferably in Sales or Account Management.
Education: You have graduated from a top-tier business or engineering school.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A passion for starting from scratch, embracing challenges, being hands-on, ambitious, and an effective problem-solver.
Independence: Capable of autonomous project management from inception to completion, setting and exceeding high standards, and ensuring project success.
Business sense: A keen ability to quickly grasp people's needs, surpass goals, and close deals.
Analytical skills: You love analyzing data and making informed decisions.
Energy: You thrive on connecting with new people. Your strength lies in active listening and crafting solutions to tackle challenges.
Efficiency: You are fond of productivity tools and able to deliver on time on projects with many stakeholders.
Mindset: You like challenges, you welcome feedback and you love constantly learning and getting better. You have a strong capacity for adaptation, organization, and autonomy. You always go the extra mile.
Languages: You are fluent in French and English, written and spoken.
Managerial experience is a strong plus.
Knowledge of the media & adtech ecosystem is a plus.
