As the first Product Designer at Hero, you will work with the different squads on various topics: BNPL products, card solutions, mobile application.

In pair with the Product Manager of the scope, you will own your projects from the user research to the analysis of the success once delivered.

Hero aims to create top-tier e-banking solutions tailored for European digital merchants. This includes an online business account, the most competitive credit line available, and a comprehensive suite of banking tools essential for their business expansion.

As the first product designer,  your missions will be to :  

• Discover : get a deep understanding of our users, uncover unmet needs through research, prioritize them with the PM and identify opportunities.

• Define and develop creative solutions in collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders.

• Deliver : ensure best-in-class handoffs and make sure the delivery phase is going well, in close collaboration with engineers.

• Follow  success metrics on the delivered solutions through user testing, in pair with the PM 

• Own : establish and promote the design system at Hero, as well as promotion of the best practices in terms of conception and UX.

Your  Profile  ?  🦸

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Designer in a complex environment, ideally in the FinTech industry

• You are keen to learn and you aim to provide the perfect experience for your customers. Your learning curve lets you adapt and evolve in a very challenging environment.

• You possess an user-oriented approach, and you’re not hesitant to dive into hands-on tasks when the situation calls for it.

• You are a good communicator (clear, humble, and precise) when collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• You are the perfect team member if you are empathic, honest and have no ego. You know that feedback is crucial for skill development and you are keen to give and receive it.

• You love to start from a blank sheet and you’re not not afraid to challenge the status quo

• Speak english and french fluently
