The Team:

The e-Commerce Logistics team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the organization by strategically deploying resources and optimizing process flows across departments. Our goal is to support business growth by adapting to changing processes and procedures and creating a productive environment. Additionally, we are responsible for ensuring a seamless and accurate receiving process to fulfill our commitment to eCommerce end-user client orders.

The Opportunity:

As the e ‑ Commerce Processing Specialist, you ensure accurate client order fulfillment by following all guidelines and compliance requirements. You manage the daily workflow of customer orders, including printing, sorting, scanning, matching, and distributing pick tickets, while helping allocate resources to maximize outbound shipments.

You prepare shipping documents, reconcile NOVA orders with your direct leader, and report any unshipped orders by end of day. You handle company assets with care, performing duties in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, with all work completed neatly, accurately, and within procedural standards.

This position is onsite in our Dayton, NJ Distribution & Service Center.

About the Role:

  • Subject matter expert who can be called upon to assist, at the supervisor’s discretion, with the training for new employees assigned to work within the e-Commerce processing area.
    • Training activities will include but not be limited to:
      • The physical picking, packing, order closure & processing of e-Commerce client orders
      • Utilization of HOP software including SCALE, Cegid, and NOVA
      • Cross training in the e-Commerce returns material handling, inspection, marking, and processing processes if needed
  • Support with printing of pick tickets as well as the sorting, scanning, and matching of e-Commerce client orders utilizing HOP’s proprietary SCALE and NOVA software applications
  • Assists through actions and oversight, adherence to departmental daily cutoffs for shipping cutoffs, while also being reactive to exceptional client order requests as needed
  • Identify client orders in NOVA based on cost and/or shipping method, ensuring all high ‑ value items and express orders are shipped in accordance with established business protocols (e.g., exotic items, one ‑ of ‑ a ‑ kind pieces, high-value handbags)
  • Preparing orders with missing stock must be notated on customer’s orders daily and reconciled by end of day and communicated to leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership daily regarding email inquiries, spot checks, and special-order requests
  • Assist with training and adherence to the e-Commerce area’s packaging standards for e-Commerce client orders
  • Support training initiatives and ensure adherence to e-commerce packaging standards, with particular emphasis on identifying and properly handling sensitive orders (e.g., fine jewelry, ready-to-wear) requiring specialized packaging and care.

Secondary Functions
  • Support e ‑ Commerce leadership with inventory counts (distribution center and offsite storage) and manage the purchase of packaging supplies (e.g., mailer boxes, corrugated boxes, printed invoices, gift cards, shipping labels, etc.)
  • Assist the e-Commerce leadership with the oversight of assigned moving personnel who manage the scanning and pallet/cart counts of outbound e-Commerce client orders

About You:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, including internships or work in a similar role/department
  • High School Diploma required; BS/BA preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Active learner who can absorb new information and effectively communicate changes to team members in e‑Commerce processing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Demonstrates urgency and accountability when addressing, researching, and resolving client order inquiries
  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team or manage projects independently
  • Flexibility to work weekly overtime, including scheduled weekends during peak seasons (e.g., holiday quarter, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as part of job responsibilities


The range for this position is $20.20 - $22.58 per hour. Actual rates are determined on the job, location, and individual experience.
