The role

We are looking for a passionate and high caliber Manager of Sustainabilityto lead and execute our sustainability strategy. In this high exposure role, you report to the Director of Strategy & Transformation, and work closely with the local leadership team to identify, prioritize, develop and execute HelloFresh’s sustainability initiatives across our organization.

You will actively drive and shape the development of a more sustainable supply chain by supporting the design, quantification and implementation of various high impact projects. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a hyper growth and successful foodtech, and be in the driver’s seat of its future sustainability agenda!

What you will be doing:

• Develop and execute HelloFresh’s sustainability strategy across our operations to deliver on ambitious carbon emissions reduction objectives.
• Build a very strong understanding of our supply chain to derive high impact projects and initiatives, build robust business cases and prioritize them with the management team.
• Lead cross-functional and high complexity projects, generating buy-in across functions and collaborating with procurement, logistics, production, tech, product, brand & communication.
• Own the data, targets and OKRs on sustainability by monitoring KPIs and creating dashboards to assess the impact of our initiatives.
• Be accountable for our environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting pillar in France. This involves the collection of inputs across the business that contribute to the Non-Financial Report, the Science Based Target Initiative for the HelloFresh Group, as well as regular updates to a C-Level.
• Establish, own and drive relationships with internal (at both local and global levels) and external stakeholders including suppliers, NGOs, governmental agencies and industry organizations to deliver the strategy.
• Conduct research and stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure HelloFresh remains at the forefront of sustainable innovation.

What we are looking for :

• >5 years experience in high growth environment such as consulting, engineering, supply chain management; and experience driving sustainability-related projects
• Passionate about sustainability and the food ecosystem, and you want to have an impact!
• High caliber profile: you are a fast learner, top performer and want to take on a new exciting challenge
• Project management skills: you know how to get buy in and you get projects delivered on time
• Analytical mindset: you are really good with numbers and have strong analytical logic and rigor
• Top notch ways of working: you set the bar really high in terms of collaboration and what good looks like
• Growth mindset and a “learning never stops” attitude
• A winning personality with strong people and communication skills
• Ability to work through tough problems with a rigorous and pragmatic approach
