We are looking for a Senior Digital Media Expert with strong expertise in social and programmatic, direct buy activation and a proven ability to build digital strategies across European markets.

This role combines hands-on campaign management with strategic planning, client advisory, and team leadership.

You will supervise a team of two media buyers and be responsible for designing and executing performance-driven and brand-led campaigns across programmatic, social, and direct publisher channels. You will collaborate closely with strategy, planning, analytics, and client teams to deliver integrated, impactful digital ecosystems.

This position is ideal for a candidate who is both operationally excellent and strategically minded, able to translate business challenges into actionable, data‑driven digital media plans.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Media Planning

  • Lead the development of international digital media strategies across programmatic, social, and multi-channel ecosystems.
  • Interpret client briefs, challenge objectives when needed, and recommend the most relevant digital touchpoints, formats, and audience approaches.
  • Build clear, structured media plans and strategic presentations for internal and client stakeholders (PPT required).
  • Evaluate publisher and platform opportunities, negotiate valued elements, and ensure consistency with the overarching strategy.

Campaign Management & Execution

  • Oversee end‑to‑end setup and management of campaigns across DSPs (DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP, Teads Connect) and major social platforms (Meta, Instagram, Tik tok, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Guarantee perfect campaign delivery: pacing, budget control, tracking integrity, measurement, and brand safety compliance.
  • Ensure your team applies best practices, testing frameworks, and optimization methodologies.

Data Analysis & Performance Optimization

  • Analyze performance data and extract insights to guide optimizations and strategic recommendations.
  • Build regular reports, dashboards, and actionable post‑campaign analyses.
  • Use data to challenge assumptions and fuel continuous improvement across channels and markets.

Client & Partner Collaboration

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and publishers across European markets.
  • Present strategies, recommendations, and results to senior stakeholders and large international audiences.
  • Coordinate closely with publishers, DSP partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery that drive media efficiency for the clients and the Havas group.

Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Manage, support, and develop two media buyers, helping them grow in both operational and strategic dimensions.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Strategy, Planning, Creative, Analytics, and local market teams to ensure consistency in approach and execution.
  • Promote digital excellence and programmatic literacy within the wider team.

Skills & Experience

Technical & Platform Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with major DSPs: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP…
  • Solid knowledge of social media buying (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Tik tok, Snapchat, Reddit etc.).
  • Strong understanding of measurement frameworks, attribution, audiences, and bidding strategies.
  • Ability to build clear, data‑driven media plans and impactful strategic presentations.

Soft Skills

  • Strategic mindset with a strong analytical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and working under tight deadlines and work with a larger team
  • Strong sense of ownership and autonomy.

Profile

  • 5–7 years of experience in digital media buying, ideally within a media agency or digital performance environment.
  • Experience managing international or multi-market campaigns is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
