Role purpose:   

  

Working in close collaboration with Global Communication Planning Lead, you will be responsible for leading   

media strategies and planning across one key global account – for whom B2B and Corporate Communications   

have been identified as a key sources of business growth.   

You will be leading the development of global campaigns and brand activations, working with key media partners / publishers, and local teams.   

You will be working on key Global French client in the financial services category across 20+ markets across   

Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.   

  

Key responsibilities:   

  

Develop best in class media strategies and plans to effectively reach specific audiences   

Partner with Global Comms Planning Director on B2B and Corporate Communications verticals:   

development of global strategies, frameworks, guidelines and recommendations   

Demonstrate expertise of B2B segment and thought leadership with client and internally   

Build strong client relationships and champion understanding of our client’s business objectives and   

strategies   

Elevate insights and data (audience data, research, econometrics, competitive, etc.) to provide sound   

strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations   

Build a strong network of media partner relationships – both with established, new and upcoming   

media partners to test   

Ensuring proper execution of communication plans:o Monitor campaigns roll-out at global level and proactively, consistently update Global Comms   

Planning Director and (if appropriate) client contact(s)   

o Maintaining accurate flow of media activity   

o Coordinate and collaborate with channel planners and traders   

o Project manages and drive campaign learnings and insights   

Constant liaison with local teams, ensuring consistent and best in class implementation of campaigns   

Partner with Account Manager to drive projects forward. Help Account Manager develop expertise and   

competencies in the sector.   

Maintain collaborative, productive working relationships with the client’s creative agency partner.   

Compile and validate creative specs and ensure deadlines are met.   

Manage media plans approvals, authorisations and PO requests   

Prepare data for reporting and analysis. Identifies learnings and creates best practices for both the   

internal team and client on the vertical   

Providing timely and accurate delivery of all work   

Demonstrate a desire to create improvement and better outcomes through innovation / approaching things in new ways   

Contributing to an environment that thrives on bringing innovation and new thinking in everyday work   

  

About You:   

At least 8+ years of related media planning/communications planning experience / understanding of   

media and digital fundamentals.   

Experience of working on global / regional clients (+ ideally a local experience) with mandatory   

experience of working on major B2B clients (tech, finance, etc..) or large global clients with activities in   

B2B and B2C   

A passion for everything media and advertising, coupled with a continued desire to expand your   

knowledge   

Problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box for creative solutions   

Ability to work within a team, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines   

Diligent and attentive to detail, with clear and proven organisational skills, able to listen, learn, and put   

into practice   

Excellent communication skills   

Demonstrate ambition by keeping abreast of industry trends through trade news, industry workshops /   

seminars and tracking current events   

Foster inspiration through appropriate participation in team, agency, and industry initiatives   

Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
