Keolis Pune Line 3 is a greenfield metro line scheduled to commence operations in 2025 in Pune, India. With an estimated 7,6 million people, Pune is located in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, 150 km from Mumbai and is locally referred to as India’s « Startup capital » or « Oxford of the East » thanks to its large number of students and IT professionals.

Keolis Pune Line 3 is a 23-km long, 23 stations metro network with all-female drivers.

Context

As a Mobilization Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment of the new Metro Network, overseeing all phases of the project form planning to coordination and execution. Mobilisation of a new metro network is an exciting experience as it offers the exposure to all departments and levels of the organization. You'll collaborate with experts in engineering, operations, finance, human resources, and others, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of starting up and operating a metro network. This hands-on experience will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to launch a new business venture and navigate the complexities of urban transportation.

Missions

You will support the Managing Director, Rail activation director and Rail Activation PMO in successful transition of Pune Metro Line 3 from construction to operation, ensuring full readiness for safe commercial operation from the day 1.

Your main missions will be:

• Mobilization planning: planning the mobilization phase, ensuring that all necessary resources, personnel, and equipment are ready for the operational launch.
• Team coordination:  coordinate with various teams involved in the project, including Client, third parties, construction, engineering, and O&M teams.
• Logistics and office administration setup: oversee the setup of operational infrastructure, such as office and maintenance facilities, control centers, and storage areas.
• Coordinate with HR workstream staff Recruitment and Training
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities:  oversee the testing and commissioning of various metro system components to ensure that everything is functioning according to specifications.
• Stakeholder coordination: coordinating with external and internal stakeholders, facilitate communication and ensure alignment.
• Project reporting: control that the mobilisation is advancing on time, on budget and compliant with contractual deliverables and requirements. 

The position will be based in Pune.

Profile

• Graduated from engineering or Business school 
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint Management 
• Experience in project management, coordination, reporting and team management
• Fluency in English 
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
