About this role : 

We are looking for a Key Account Manager - Lead Generation/Content Sales (m/f/x) to help our Connect team. Our Connect tribe builds and operates white-label portals for the largest media publishers in the world (e.g. CNN, LeMonde, Elpais, Business Insider, Focus Online, etc.), offering Commerce Content solutions such as coupons, deals, shopping recommendations, and reviews.  

You will be responsible for growing the German market which is the newest addition to our international portfolio and we’re already working with most of the top retailers. We are a growing team in a start-up environment, therefore we are always working on something new and interesting. As part of the role, there are opportunities to travel abroad and to work with our global account management team in Munich.

Responsibilities: 

  • Selling on-site promotional packages based on CPL fee 
  • Increasing the prominence of our high-yield opportunities
  • Work creatively with our partners to fulfil their immediate and wider business goals
  • Presenting to brand managers and more senior contacts
  • Producing campaign reports and analysis for effective long-term growth
  • Proactively managing partners in a transparent and professional manner
  • Participate in (international) project work as and when required
  • Autonomously manage accounts under the guidance of the leadership
  • Working strategically with the editorial team to promote brands across the website
  • Representing the company at industry events and any other additional duties as and when required

Your Profile : 

  • 3+ years of business development or sales experience in the media industry
  • In-depth understanding of the media or content marketing industry, particularly of high-yield products
  • Analytical mindset, data-driven decisions and sound business judgment
  • An understanding of Start-Ups and E-Commerce
  • You should be fluent in both spoken and written English and German
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, capable of problem-solving
  • Very organised and able to manage multiple work streams at the same time
