About this role :

We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to join our Finance Team in our office in Madrid. Our Finance team provides timely, reliable, and accurate financial information to relevant stakeholders, thus assisting decision-making. Efficient processes, transparency, and compliance with local and international financial reporting regulations are critical to the finance functions in our company. Among many exciting challenges, you will:

Responsibilities:

• Improve the process to control missing payments
• Create guidelines for local accounting processes
• Support the team in the monthly closing topics and continuously improve it
• Prepare payments, creditor and debitor bookings and follow up on them
• Control and balance all accounts
• Support in preparation monthly management reports, quarterly tax declarations and year end closings

Your Profile :

• 1 - 2 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in Spanish invoicing and accounting rules
• Experience in VAT and withholding taxes declarations as well as claim receivables
• An open minded personality with attention to details
• Fluent language skills in Spanish and English, both spoken and written
