Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior SaaS Operations Engineer to join the Sunstice SaaS team. In this role, you will contribute to the availability, scalability, and reliability of our SaaS platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, professional services, and customer support teams to operate and continuously improve a platform running at scale, while supporting the deployment of new features and environments for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy new SaaS environments to support product evolution and customer growth.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to the platform and its underlying infrastructure.
Improve platform reliability and performance by identifying bottlenecks, implementing automation, and enhancing monitoring and alerting.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new software releases and upgrades, ensuring thorough testing and minimal impact on customers.
Work with customer support to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues, providing timely updates and clear resolutions.
Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours incidents and emergencies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent industry experience.
Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows system administration.
Experience automating operations using scripting languages (e.g. shell, Python).
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Curiosity and a passion for solving complex technical problems.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Strong interest in technology and continuous learning.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
AWS or other relevant technical certifications.
