THE ROLE

The On Call Co-ordinator for the major sports event in Paris 2024, responsible for staff communication, proactive issue resolution, emergency replacements, attendance management, and overtime tracking. Demonstrates strong customer service and effective multitasking.

This is a fixed-term position starting mid-June 2024 and ending mid-August 2024. The specificity of this position is that you will be working for a single client on one of the biggest sporting events in the world, which will take place in Paris in 2024.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all field staff involved in the biggest sporting event in Paris in 2024
  • Facilitate twice daily teammeets to ensure open communication and address any concerns or challenges faced by field staff
  • Serve as the escalation point for field staff, addressing issues that arise during their assignments on field
  • Implement a proactive approach to issue resolution, identifying recurring problems and developing preventive measures
  • Coordinate the replacement of staff in case of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, ensuring seamless continuity of operations
  • Manage the check-in and check-out procedures for all staff before and after their shifts, maintaining accurate attendance records
  • Monitor and track overtime hours for field staff, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  • Provide ongoing training and support to field staff regarding accurate timekeeping practices to improve overtime tracking accuracy
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills while efficiently multitasking in a composed manner to handle various responsibilities during the event

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Fluent in English with strong multilingual skills, particularly in French, to ensure effective communication with an international team and local stakeholders
