What do we do? 🏠

Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.

Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeau, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.

In 4 years, we have:

  • Deployed +650 stations and over 2000 fast-charging points

  • Opened several offices in France and Europe

  • Raised over €1 billion in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions

  • Joined the French Tech Next 40 and won the European Scale-up of the Year 2024 award

  • Assembled a team of over 240 talents… and this is just the beginning !

💼 Your Missions

In 2023 we opened Electra's Switzerland office. We are now looking to expand our teams and recruit motivated and driven individuals to set up 150 fast charging stations by the end of 2030.

As a Business Development Intern your mission consists of creating partnerships with hotels, restaurants, malls, cinemas, and all car park operators, offering them our multiple services. Your main challenge is to open as many doors as possible in order to help Business Developers convert attractive deals and to map out the best locations possible in Switzerland. You are the face of Electra and the first person to meet our potential partners.

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️Your responsibilities

  • Contacting potential partners, qualifying them and scheduling meetings that you will attend with business developers

  • Convincing your prospects to trust Electra to install an ultra-fast charging station on their land

  • Qualify locations with the use of proprietary tools and several data sets: road traffic data, population density mapping, landowner databases, etc.

  • Using the CRM to industrialise your approach (gaining in speed & efficiency)

  • Assist with any other relevant task to the Electra development: Communication, station openings, utilisation analysis, research on competition and more

💚 Your Profile

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in Business or Economics

  • You have had a first experience in business development or a similarly challenging role

  • You have analytical skills and can rationalise your approach of good vs bad locations

  • You are autonomous, organized and have a strong team spirit

  • And you are comfortable making contact with new people quickly

  • You are determined, result-driven and know how to bounce back from objections

  • You have a desire to develop and learn in a fast-growing start-up

  • You speak German, French and English fluently. Italian is a big bonus 😉

  • You are interested in current energy / environmental topics
