Dust is a Sequoia-backed company with an experienced and determined team of optimists (coming from companies like Stripe or OpenAI) that like to focus on users, getting great things done by shipping fast, and doesn’t take itself too seriously while doing so.
We're looking for our first US-based GTM Recruiter to build and own our US go-to-market hiring function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to be the architect of a hiring machine that will fuel our US expansion, hiring 20-30 GTM roles across AEs, BDRs, Solutions Engineers, Forward Deployment Engineers, and sales leadership over the next year.
You'll work with a product you can use daily—building AI agents to transform your own recruiting workflows—while evangelizing how AI is revolutionizing talent acquisition. You'll have full ownership of US GTM hiring while partnering closely with leadership to create scalable, repeatable systems that balance a high hiring bar with world-class candidate experience.

Build the US GTM Hiring Machine
Own end-to-end recruiting for GTM hires across Account Executives (enterprise), BDRs, Solutions Engineers, Forward Deployment Engineers, and sales leadership
Design and implement structured interview processes with objective scorecards for each role type
Build sourcing playbooks, talent maps, and attraction strategies for competitive US market
Reduce agency reliance to ~20% by building robust internal pipelines
Instrument hiring data and create dashboards to track pipeline health, time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, and other key metrics
Create World-Class Candidate Experience
Ensure every candidate leaves as a Dust fan, regardless of outcome
Provide timely, actionable feedback at every stage
Design efficient systems that respect candidates' time while maintaining high bar
Set candidates up for success with clear communication and preparation
Build Dust's US Employer Brand
Co-own US employer brand development with leadership
Create compelling narrative about why top GTM talent should join Dust
Develop content, events, and community presence in SF/US market
Evangelize how AI is transforming the talent industry
Partner with Leadership & Hiring Managers
Work closely with US GM (Nico), future sales leader, founders, and hiring managers
Train hiring managers on structured interviewing and objective evaluation
Partner with EU talent team to ensure consistent, scalable processes globally
Influence hiring strategy and talent planning
Use AI to Transform Recruiting
Build Dust agents to automate workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance candidate experience
Demonstrate how AI can transform talent acquisition
Be a power user and evangelist for the product
Senior GTM Recruiting Expertise (5+ years)
Proven track record hiring competitive GTM roles: enterprise Account Executives, BDRs, Solutions Engineers, technical sales roles
Can articulate sophisticated sourcing strategies, attraction techniques, and closing tactics
Deep understanding of GTM candidate profiles and how to assess sales talent
Examples of successfully filling hard-to-fill GTM roles in competitive markets
Startup/Scale-Up Builder (Series A-C)
Experience in high-growth tech, AI, or SaaS startups
Built recruiting infrastructure with limited resources—no armies of coordinators or massive budgets
Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you have to figure things out
Understands the speed and scrappiness required at this stage
First Talent Hire or Strong #2
You've been the first recruiter building from ground up, OR you've been a #2 who's seen what great looks like and is ready to own the build
Can describe the talent systems, processes, and infrastructure you've personally built and implemented
Not just executing someone else's playbook—you're writing the playbook
Data-Driven & System-Oriented
Use data to identify bottlenecks, improve syst, and drive better outcomes
Track and optimize metrics: pipeline health, time-to-hire, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, response rates, source effectiveness
Can build dashboards, analyze trends, and make recommendations based on data
Agency + Internal Experience (Ideal)
Experience in both agency recruiting and in-house talent roles
Understand both sourcing velocity/hunter mentality AND company building/strategic partnership
Nice-to-Haves
Experience recruiting at an AI company
Familiarity with Ashby ATS
Already using AI tools in your day-to-day recruiting workflows
Experience recruiting technical GTM roles (e.g., Solutions Engineers, Forward Deployment Engineers)
