As an intern in the Operational Performance team, you will participate in projects aiming at improving performance and decision-making.

At Deezer, our data analysts play a crucial role in ensuring that every strategic move is grounded in robust data-driven insights. They maintain a dynamic and progressive approach, constantly evolving their methodologies, analytical proficiency, and business acumen.

The Operational Performance team is organised in “squads” by topic: Product & Content, Business and Partnerships. This position is to work in the Product & Content squad.

Key responsibilities of your role

• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to grasp their objectives and obstacles.
• Develop, construct, and manage data visualisations and dashboards to render data accessible and comprehensible.
• Conduct in-depth analyses and deliver insights on music consumption, as well as recommendations for the stakeholders to make the best decisions
• Collaborate on designing, implementing, and analysing A/B tests to optimise app performance and user experience
• Create, enhance and automate data pipelines, establishing a foundation for consistent data analysis for stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Business/Engineering school candidates seeking final year internships.
• Proficient in SQL or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in Data Visualization (e.g., Tableau).
• Capable of tackling complex problems through insightful analysis, at the intersection of technology, product, and business.
• Possesses a rigorous, structured approach with keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a genuine interest in the music/tech industry! :)
