Based in Berlin, we are looking for someone that wants to help us build a department. We currently have HR in 3 of 4 main countries (Germany, France and the US) and you’ll have the privilege to lead this brilliant team toward an exciting journey. You’ll be handling globally the subjects (payroll, legal and contracts) but your team will have the local ownership. You’ll also get your hands dirty when needed (and we are a startup so it happens a lot) and you’ll lead projects and develop processes to scale our HR department! 

🎯 The 3 objectives we propose you if you join us : 🎯

We will give you full ownership of everything related to HR (Everything except recruitment). It partly involves payroll, contracts and legal across the world.

Managing a high demanding and high performing team will be your core objective as well.

Your objective will be to scale, adapt or create whatever is missing to the company and the HR team to be extremely efficient. 

⚙️ Your daily activities will be divided between these different missions: ⚙️

Supervising payroll, contracts, legal documents to be send to employees

Supervising our ticketing system (Back) 

Implementing projects from scratch all along with our regional HR Managers and our VP of People. Whether you’ll own it, whether you’ll assist, in both case you’ll be involved in plenty of projects

Keeping our systems, tools and data clean and reliable

Compiling accurate and actionable reports on a regular basis

Be the guiding light for our Chocorians regarding specific topics that demand extra efforts here (Visa, Salary evolutions, conflicts…)

We won’t ask for a specific amount of experience but you need to have done most of the things mentioned above. You need to have the basics already, strong basics, and we’ll help you to go the extra mile!

Suggestion: We are fast paced and creative. We juggle new ideas and have to implement them fast. You have worked in a fast paced or high pressure environment before and know how to handle it. 

We expect you to be diligent, reliable, to strive for high accuracy and to have analytical skills

Your German level is Native and your English is Fluent.
