We are looking for a junior Legal Counsel to support our Paris team. You will be the sole lawyer in the Paris office with colleagues in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Revenue teams with drafting, negotiation, and processing of SaaS and Consulting Services contracts in France and in UK.
  • Support several internal departments with review and negotiation of vendor agreements.
  • Answer legal questions from members of the various business units.
  • Research legal topics as directed by management.
  • Participate in various global legal projects and training to support the company’s legal needs.
  • Elaborate and/or update of the General Terms and Conditions periodically.
  • In connection with external DPO, participate in the company's compliance with the various laws and regulations on the protection of personal data (in particular GDPR).
  • Maintain the register of data processing and train assistants in various departments.
  • Requirements

  • French-qualified Legal Counsel with 1-3 years of professional experience.
  • Some work experience in a SaaS company, preferably a tech start-up.
  • Organized, responsive and strong senses of ownership & urgency.
  • Priority management and pragmatic business-minded approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across departments and geographies.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) required. You will work in both languages daily.
  • Experience with Ironclad CLM preferred.
