Your Mission:

We are looking for a Strategy & Business Analyst to join the CEE & LATAM Strategy team at BlaBlaCar. The team’s mission is to guide strategic decision-making and contribute to scaling our activities in CEE & LATAM. Among other things, we achieve this mission through analyzing data, building dashboards, creating reporting and producing budgets and forecasts. You will be reporting to the Strategy Manager in charge of CEE & LATAM, Marketing & Customer Support and working with Business, Product and Data teams.

Alongside your team, you’ll join a well-rounded and experienced Strategy team, and will belong to the Analytics Chapter, an internal community of 25+ analysts who meet regularly to share, learn and innovate on data analytics.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of the levers impacting our performance (growth dynamics, competition, network & pricing structure) and recommend actions to increase our impact
  • Provide actionable insights and reports to BlaBlaCar’s executives to support their strategic decision-making
  • Evaluate the performance of current business operations and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business goals
  • Build positive and trustful relationship while working with management and local teams to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities
  • Analyze and deliver reports for stakeholders with Tableau software
  • Your Qualifications:

  • 6 months - 2 years of experience in consulting, business intelligence, or other relevant analytical position or internships 
  • Excellent communication skills: experience in synthesizing and communicating data clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to think strategically and “outside the box”
  • Strong attention to details and the ability to step back to see the bigger picture
  • Ability to take ownership, aligned with business priorities  
  • Fluent in English (Portuguese, Ukrainian or Hindi is a plus)

  • Nice to have: Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau) and SQL
