We are looking for an intern to join the Strategy & Business Analyst - Western Europe team at BlaBlaCar. Part of the team’s mission is to support the strategic decision-making of the Operated Buses business unit. This business unit operates long-distance buses in Western Europe under the BlaBlaCar brand. As an operationally-focused team, one of its main goals is to ensure passengers have a safe and reliable journey to their destination. Your role as an intern will be to deliver strategic analyses and reporting tools to help the team improve passenger experience.
Your responsibilities
Building a strong understanding of the key levers impacting our operational performance and recommend actions to improve our operationsBuilding positive and trustful relationship with Ops teams to identify business needs, challenges and opportunitiesHarmonizing our current reporting framework and deliver reports for Ops stakeholders, using Tableau softwareFully leveraging our data to build a comprehensive understanding of our bus operationsSupporting the Western Europe Analytics team on ad-hoc analysesYour qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a study program (e.g. Business, Engineering School), seeking a 6-month internship1 to 2 previous internship experiences in consulting, finance, business intelligence or other relevant analytical positionStrong analytical and problem solving skills, you love numbers and like to think “outside the box”Excellent communication skills: ability/experience in synthesizing and communicating data clearlySolid knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation programs (e.g. Google Slides)Thorough attention to detailsFull working proficiency in English and FrenchFit with our BlaBlaPrinciplesNice to have: proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau) and SQL (or eager to learn) For internships: Having an internship agreement from your school or university is mandatory. We won’t be able to proceed with your application otherwise.
