The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Within the Group, you will join the Finance department. Within Group Finance, you will be part of the Procurement and third-party risk management team who is supporting GIE AXA business teams in their sourcing requests related to General Expenses, Professional Services, IT Services, Software and Market Data.
The team organization includes:
- The Head of Procurement and third-party risk management department- A buyer for General Expenses and Professional Services- A buyer for IT Services, Software and Market Data.- A legal counsel for Procurement contracts- A manager for critical third-party management (critical outsourcing, DORA third party risk management, vendor risk framework and ESG/CSRD)- A Procurement support member for Purchase Order approval, procurement support and analyses
Your main responsibilities will include sourcing, negotiating, and managing software licenses, IT equipment, market data, and technology services that align with GIE AXA business goals. The role includes cost efficiency, compliance, regulatory third-party risk management and optimal vendor performance to support business teams.
Procurement and Contracts- Develop and implement IT and software procurement strategies in alignment with business objectives- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFx or direct negotiations- Identify opportunities for cost savings through diversified procurement levers: volume consolidation, discounts, long-term agreements and strategic sourcing- Contribute to legal and regulatory compliance
Stakeholder Management- Collaborate closely with: o IT, Finance, VRF experts, and legal counsel for alignment on procurement decisionso business stakeholders to understand technology requirements and business goalso other AXA entities and specially Group Procurement to leverage best practices and benefit from community expertise
Third-party Risk Management- Mitigate operational and regulatory risks by executing Vendor Risk Framework (VRF) to ensure compliance with Group standards and applicable regulation (Solvency II, DORA, Schrems 2, IA, etc.)
Supplier Management- Identify, evaluate and establish relationship with GIE AXA key software and IT vendors- Negotiate commercial and legal terms as well as Services Level Agreements in collaboration with the business owners- Monitor supplier performance ensuring compliance with contract terms
Inventory and Asset Management- Contribute to maintain accurate records of contracts
- Master 2 in Procurement- 6+ years of experience in IT and software procurement within the insurance sector- Strong understanding of software licensing, cloud-based solutions, market data and IT services- Good knowledge in main legal provisions with the support of the legal counsel: data confidentiality, IT security, business continuity, rights of use, intellectual property rights, liability and insurance related regulations- Excellent negotiation, communication and vendor management skills- Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and cost saving opportunities- Excellent French and English skills (read, written and spoken)- Result oriented and proactiveness in managing procurement processes
