Within this Department, you will be part of the Group Underwriting P&C Commercial team.
Job Purpose
In order to drive Underwriting technical excellence and sustainable growth of earnings, the GUO P&C Commercial has organized its missions along several pillars comprising (i) governance, controls, referrals and breaches (ii) reviews (In-depth reviews, Technical Reviews, Deep Dive reviews) (iii) Product expertise (Clear project, communities, CoEs, expert networks (iv) Natural Events Project (v) UW climate & sustainability (vi) steer portfolio shift (build an UW Entity QBR, support to PMP, Entities’ strategic initiatives support, strat plan definition review and roll out follow up).
GUO missions are diverse and led via separate interactions with AXA entities via multiple separate points of contact along the year. These expert workstreams and missions with entities will continue. However, top management would benefit of one single 360 forum to provide, per entity and with the entity, the necessary visibility on all those workstreams in order to make sure UWing actions and reviews’ recommendations are rolled out according to plan and bear fruit, or increase speed of delivery where needs be.
The Business Performance Analyst will contribute to the definition, test (first at Group level then with elected entities), plan and roll out a Quarterly Business Review process (QBR) to be led with GUO and entities P&C, addressing each entity Underwriting and Business Performance and UWing actions in a summarized 360-like score-card so to gather in one forum on a regular basis all matters of importance for UWing per entity. He/she will also be supporting the IDR planning & coordination for P&C Commercial.
He/she will report to the Business Performance Senior Manager.
