What You Will Do
- Lead and deliver LLM projects: Manage the design, development, and deployment of advanced LLM-powered solutions, including RAG systems, agentic AI architectures, and multi-modal applications for our clients.
- Drive technical excellence: Architect and deploy advanced AI systems leveraging cutting-edge techniques such as parameter-efficient fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA), prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), function/tool calling, multi-agent workflows, and emerging interoperability standards like the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Establish evaluation frameworks: Design and implement comprehensive quality metrics and benchmarks to ensure production-ready, reliable AI solutions that meet client requirements.
- Mentor and manage teams: Guide junior engineers and data scientists in implementing cutting-edge AI technologies, fostering best practices in LLM development and deployment.
- Innovate and strategize: Drive experimentation with state-of-the-art LLMs to identify new use cases, optimize performance through techniques like quantization and inference optimization, and develop generative AI tools and products.
- Build scalable infrastructure: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of AI systems, including model serving, API development, vector databases, orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and cloud infrastructure.
- Engage with clients: Collaborate with client teams to translate their business needs into impactful AI solutions, providing technical leadership and strategic guidance throughout project lifecycles.
- Shape our expertise: Contribute to the company's thought leadership by publishing insights, presenting at conferences, or driving internal training on emerging LLM technologies and best practices.
What You Bring
- A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees (MSc or PhD) are a plus.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in AI, with a strong focus on Data, Machine Learning, LLMs, or generative AI.
- Consulting experience, including managing client relationships and delivering tailored solutions.
- Deep expertise in modern LLM techniques including fine-tuning, RAG systems, agentic AI, evaluation frameworks, and production deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python and extensive experience with NLP/AI frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangGraph, Agno, ….).
- Leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex AI projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in English, Dutch, or French is required; additional languages are a plus.
