What you will be doing

As a Junior Financial Controller at Artefact Benelux, you will be playing a key role in supporting a wide range of finance activities, with opportunities to tackle stimulating projects for the whole of Artefact Global. You will be working in a young, collaborative and international team in Utrecht, where no two days are the same – from overseeing day-to-day financial matters, to using your knowledge to inform and empower new initiatives. You’ll be provided with the support and development to make a real impact on both the local and global business. Furthermore, you will be expected to

• Create and send sales invoices and monitor and maintain debtor database;
• Check, post and process incoming invoices;
• Prepare and issue various reports and reconciliations;
• Monitor and maintain outstanding items, and manage and maintain accounts payable database;
• Project administration in ERP system, including creating/managing projects; 
• Check and process employee claims;
• Process bank transactions and prepare payment batches.

Your profile

• You have completed your bachelor studies in business administration, finance or accounting;
• You have at least 6-12 months of relevant work experience in Finance and are eager to learn more about it;
• You know your way around Microsoft office, experience working with Exact online is a plus;
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken - Dutch is a big plus! 
• You are friendly, organised, with a keen eye for detail;
• You understand the importance of meeting tight deadlines and delivering results on time.
