As a Co-manufacturing Manager at La Vie you will be accountable for the planning and deploying of production for our delicious products on the short, medium and long term horizons.

We have following missions for you:

  • Identify and select co-manufacturers in line with the manufacturing & sourcing strategy and standards
  • Discuss and agree with co-manufacturers the ways-of-working for all operational activities in the cooperation
  • Negotiate and regularly review/update contracts and partnership agreements with Co-man
  • Act as the “owner” of the business relationship with the Co-man
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, initiate projects and execute projects in collaboration with the Co-man
  • Continuously improve cost, quality, service, ways-of-working of the Co-man operations
  • Run regular performance reviews with the co-man
  • Analyse the network of co-man and make recommendations for optimisation and sourcing changes

Requisitos

  • 5-7yrs functional experience in manufacturing and/or procurement in the FMCG/Food industry, ideally with short shelf-life/chilled products
  • Practical experience in sourcing consumer facing products from 3rd party suppliers and co-manufacturers/co-packers
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to understand and present complex processes and supply networks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards, relevant food production technologies
  • Strong agility, taking responsibility/making decisions in uncertain environments, pragmatic, high results focus
  • Fluent in French and English is a must, prepared to travel across Europe and USA about 20% of your time
