What is our Startup Success team?  

The job of XAnge’s Startup Success is to be a result-driven service for our startups, dedicated to Founders & C-levels, for all operational challenges related to the scaling of our portfolio companies. This is done through: Our Startup Community (intro, talks, dinners…), Acceleration programs (workshops, tools, benchmarks…), Ecosystem management (talent community, discounts with our partners, connections with our LPs…). 

Being part of XAnge’s Startup Success team, is embracing our working philosophy:  

What we are:  

• Doers: Founders and C-levels do not need strategic input from us, they need us to concretely solve their problem(s). We do this within 48h. 

• Enablers: We open doors, we connect people, we gather and digest facts.  

• Brain Gymnasts: We can speak HR, Finance, Ops, Office space, Marketing… We understand the CEO’s daily challenges.  

• Hungry for learning: We never stop at our own knowledge. When we don’t have the answer to a question, we always dig deeper to understand the topic.  

• Humble: We support exceptional management teams. Our startups are doing the heavy lifting, not us.  

What we’re not:  

• Slow: Our startups qualify us as “hyper-reactive team”, and they like us for that. We must know how to prioritize the requests we receive to maintain this level of reactivity. 

• Consultant: We do not provide advice to our startups. We benchmark to give a comprehensive overview. 

• Experts: It would not be possible to be an expert across all topics and sectors. We choose to be generalists and work with the best sector experts to bring the best quality to our startups. 

• Investors: We work closely with our brilliant investment team. We do not aim to act like one. We wish to bring complementary skills to our startups. 

Currently, XAnge’s Startup Success Team consists of 4 people:

In 2024, the team will be growing and will be delighted to welcome one newcomer.

Why do we need you? 

XAnge’s Startup Success team is a victim of its own success.  

The number of requests we receive every month is growing fast and we need to strengthen the team to keep our operational excellence. Plus, we have a loooooot of projects in our backlog and we need a highly motivated colleague to help us make them happen. As an example, we will release a second edition of our ‘Blueprint’ book series, this time focusing on Series A fundraising… 

Your goals 

• Answer founders and c-level executives’ incoming requests by leveraging the resources we have developed, by ensuring a top level of quality and rigor. 

• Develop new acceleration programs, content, and tools to support the growth of our companies and help them with key operational problems.  

• Be a facilitator of the community of founders and executive teams: events management, talks between peers, newsletters… 

• Participate in our marketing efforts to make the XAnge Startup Success service known within the startup ecosystem.  

• More generally, participating in XAnge’s Startup Success team’s development, strategy, and daily activities.

Who we’re looking for ? 

• You have worked in a startup/scale-up as a chief of staff, right hand to a CEO or founder, or have worked in a consulting firm for min. 2 Years.  

• You are hands-on and not afraid of multi-tasking. You are known for not hesitating to go beyond your comfort zone and as an excellent project leader. 

• You are autonomous and a real team player. 

• You are passionate about Tech and Digital Startups, demonstrated by a strong knowledge of no-code tools (and you are always trying new ones). ChatGPT/Gemini is your best friend to boost your productivity. 

• You have strong written and oral communications skills. 

• You are fluent in English and French (all our written communications are in English, and part of our meetings). German is a plus.
