Job description

  • As our Network Account Manager, you will own and build out how we partner with our largest and most strategic provider partners, including nationwide provider networks
  • As Wellthy grows, our provider relationships are getting larger and more complex. That opens up room to rethink how we work with partners. This role will be the main point of contact for key partners. It will also build creative solutions with them that improve the experience for both members and providers
  • Because the role is new, there’s no playbook yet. You’ll shape how this function works, from how we manage strategic accounts to how we turn partner feedback into better ways of working. The ideal candidate is curious, enjoys solving problems, and is excited to build something from the ground up. They ideally know Wellthy well, communicate clearly, build trust easily, and handle challenging conversations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment
  • You will report directly to the Care Network Consultant
  • Own strategic provider relationships: Be the main point of contact for our largest and nationwide provider partners, and build strong, trusted relationships with them
  • Partner closely with Backup Care: Work hand in hand with the Backup Care (BUC) manager and specialists to understand provider pain points, spot operational opportunities, and turn what you learn into improvements for providers and members
  • Co-create solutions with partners: Work with providers to understand their goals and challenges. Design creative, practical solutions that improve the member and provider experience
  • Build the function: Define how Wellthy manages strategic provider accounts, including engagement rhythms, success measures, and the playbooks that let this work scale
  • Manage escalations: Own complex provider issues, calm down challenging situations, and coordinate solutions across internal teams
  • Stay curious and look ahead: Ask why recurring issues happen, look for patterns, and fix root causes before small concerns grow
  • Connect teams across Wellthy: Work closely with Provider Network Specialists, Care Operations, and other teams to keep everyone aligned and get to the best outcome for members
  • Support network growth: Work with the Provider Network team so that new and existing strategic relationships are set up for long-term success
  • Our largest provider partners have a clear, trusted point of contact at Wellthy
  • New, partner-informed solutions are in place that improve the member and provider experience in ways we can measure
  • A clear, repeatable approach to managing strategic provider accounts has been built and documented
  • Escalations are handled promptly and professionally, and their root causes are addressed
  • The Provider Network team can put even more of its focus on network development and operations

Benefits

  • Generous PTO and flexible leave policies
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • HSA and FSA options
  • Professional learning and development opportunities
  • Free access to Wellthy’s services

Preferred experience

  • Comfort with emerging technology and curiosity around how tools like AI can support your workflow or help families more effectively is a plus
  • A proven ability to handle difficult conversations, manage escalations, and resolve conflict constructively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and competing priorities without letting anything slip through the cracks
  • Familiarity with Wellthy’s services, operations, and member experience is a strong plus
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the drive to build structure and processes where none exist yet
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with external stakeholders
  • 3–5+ years of experience in client-, member-, or partner-facing roles, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and delivering results
  • The ability to build trust with a wide range of personalities
  • A curious, creative problem-solver who asks good questions and likes finding new ways to approach old challenges
  • Good judgment, a strong sense of ownership, and a focus on solutions
