Who are we ?

The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new medical approach to aid in the treatment of atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company’s founders, world experts in interventional electrophysiology and intracardiac signal analysis.

Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.

We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has nearly 90 employees in France, Germany and the United States ! We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $38 million Series B round in January 2023.

  • Solution installation: lead the deployment and installation of our solutions in hospitals, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Technical support: deliver prompt and efficient technical support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving cases effectively.
  • Collaboration with medical teams: foster strong working relationships with physicians and operating room teams, optimizing the utilization of our solutions.
  • Customer relations: act as the primary point of contact for customers, cultivating strong relationships and representing our products as a dedicated ambassador.
  • Communication with European team: maintain regular, open communication with the European team to stay updated on ongoing work and upcoming developments.
  • Travel: travel once or twice a week within the north and north-east regions of Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, and Poland to support various centers.
  • Balanced work approach: efficiently manage time, balancing approximately 50% travels and the rest remotely.
  • Profile

  • The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or work experience in an EP Lab instead
  • Experience in a similar role: the candidate should have at least some prior experience in such a position. 
  • Fluent in German: proficiency in German is essential, as it will be required for effective communication with clients and medical teams in the north and north-east regions of Germany.
  • English Proficiency: the candidate should be fluent in both written and spoken English, as it will be necessary for interacting with the international team and collaborating on projects.
