The position

Job description

Virtuos Games is seeking for a Junior PMO Manager to join our team who is working with wide variety of video games ranging from indie to AAA. You will be working on structures, processes, production training & project audits to improve our efficiency and productivity under the supervision of the PMO Manager for Western Region.

Responsibilities:

·       Writing of production related documentation.

·       Creation of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall trainings.

·       Set-up training roadmaps for France studios trainings.

·       Identifying best practices, processes, and structures for our projects.

·       Audit of France projects to spot good practices to share across and structural issues to be addressed to improve velocity, efficiency, and productivity.

·       Follow-up on restructuration of projects proposed by PMO.

·       Mentoring of France producers for Agile/Scrum & production practices.

·       Adapt to a wide range of project types in terms of their production stakes.

·       Research and explore new production practices to be explored and implemented in our productions.

·       Collaborate with PMO team to further develop our internal tools and initiatives.


Preferred experience

Skills & Requirements

·       Project management studies/training/certification with an emphasis on Agile/SCRUM.

·       At least 1 year experience in Game Production as Associate Producer, Project coordinator or Producer.

·       Professional experience with production tools like Hansoft, JIRA.

·       Proficient with Microsoft 360 suite.

·       Strong knowledge of Agile philosophy and Scrum framework.

·       Appetite for structures, processes, and tools.

·       Appeal for tracking & risk management.

·       Observational and analytical skills.

·       Experience with production related problem-solving.

·       Effective English written and verbal communication skills.

·       Positivity yet objectivity.

·       Ability to defend its positions and negociate with stakeholders.

Bonus skills:

·       Knowledge of other project management techniques (Waterfall, other Agile frameworks than Scrum, Lean, etc…)

·       Technical experiences (like design, art, programming or other)

·       Wide video game industry knowledge and awareness
