The position

Job description

Swan is looking for a Chief of Staff. Someone that will grow the CEO team from the inside and help maximize the full potential of the company. We’re looking for a “Swiss Knife” who can work across the whole organization.

You must be highly structured with an analytical profile and a strong business acumen. You must be able to understand deeply what we are building at Swan. You will also need to be able to switch context repeatedly, as in an average day, you might be asked to work on different projects with the Finance, Compliance, Product, and Sales teams.

Based in Paris, you must travel occasionally to meet our teams across Europe.

Your mission

  • Run the company’s rituals to make sure that Swan has the right processes to scale and maintain alignment across different departments. Foster a strong organizational culture, ensuring that the company’s vision, values, and goals are effectively communicated and understood by all employees.

    • Set up & track quarterly objectives

    • Get the most of Swan’s management team:

    • Prepare & participate steering committees

  • Manage existing investor relationships

    • Prepare & participate in quarterly board meetings. Get the most of out Swan’s board for strategic decisions

  • Leading or supporting special strategic projects, like for instance: 

    • Project management of opening an office in Milan

    • Help in determining whether Swan should become a fully-licensed Bank

    • Contribute to fundraising processes

✨ Your team

  • You will mostly work with the CEO, spending from 4 to 20 hours a week working together, depending on the weeks

  • You will also need to interact frequently with the board of investors and all the department heads

  • Ability to communicate with clarity, humility, and precision. Fostering clear and cohesive communication across stakeholders. Aligning diverse individuals and teams toward a common goal

  • Strong analytical skills, you have an eye for detail

  • Highly structured individual capable of handling multiple tight deadlines in parallel

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment

  • Excellent working abilities in English (French is not required)
