You will be a sparring partner for the CSO and support the data science team to accelerate, secure and scale the delivery of our next products, with robustness and velocity. You will report directly to the COO. Your key missions will be:

• Strategy: help formalize Image based-R&D strategy and OKRs for the data science team together with CSO and the rest of the leadership team

• Management: Structure the datascience team, define most relevant organisation, recruitments and individual objectives and roadmaps 

• Engineering: make sure key initiatives are prioritized depending on strategic choices and product roadmap

• Tech: build efficient relationship with tech team to collaborate on ML pipelines in particular

• Product: help build products that scale 

• Data: In collaboration with the clinical team, ensure a smooth data collection process. 

One of your first task will also be to hire a machine learning engineer and a data engineer.

Sonio is a mission-driven company so interest in our mission is critical. Other requirements are: 

• 5-10 years having built AI-powered products that could be sold and managed teams

• Experience with AI/computer vision is a must

• Curious about medical imaging & its technologies (DICOM and PACS, viewers, analytics, imaging and other web applications)

• Highly motivated for the project, with a strong interest in healthcare and AI, and fetal medicine in particular 

• Strong team player, showing optimism and trust in the team and the project - with exceptional ability to fit into an existing team, being a role model and managing through strong contributions and demonstrations of expertise and experience
