Job description

  • We’re hiring for a Senior Product Manager to build agent products
  • You’ll own new product development end-to-end, from customer and technical discovery, to product shaping and viability, to quality and feedback loops that make these products better
  • You’ll work at the frontier of agentic product development, shaping how Runway Agents help our customers grow their businesses
  • Represent the customer: develop deep understanding of creative and marketing workflows through frequent customer engagement; synthesize findings on agent performance and behavior, and lead a team with clarity and conviction
  • Lead Agent Development: run user interviews, competitive research, eval analysis, and prompt experimentation. Shape your findings into new product offerings that solve customer problems in new and novel ways
  • Own agent quality: create eval infrastructure, monitor regressions, and ensure that agents improves with every release
  • Shape the scope: scope ruthlessly to deliver exceptional user value on a fast paced release
  • Ship, hands-on. ship your own PRs to improve the product experience. You’ll be in the details daily and shipping regularly
  • Create compelling launch moments: enable sales, support, and marketing with the context they need to communicate new agent capabilities effectively

Benefits

  • 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage: We cover 100% of medical, dental and vision for our US employees AND their dependents. Based on the plans selected, we have complimentary mental health benefits and a free One Medical membership
  • Unlimited days of PTO: We have unlimited PTO with a minimum of 15 days a year. We also have a paid sabbatical program after employees have been with Runway for 3 years and again after 5 years. And of course, we can’t forget about Summer Fridays
  • 401k Matching, 3% matching: Plan for the future! We provide a 3% 401K match for our US based employees
  • Remote $250 stipend: All of our employees outside of commuting distance to the office, can expense up to $250 per month on co-working spaces, lunch or groceries, and internet connection
  • Donations supporting our community: Beyond our employees, we have a commitment to our communities. Every quarter, Runway employees choose an organization for the company to support through a donation
  • Custom setup, tech setup stipend: In addition to the choice of laptop, all employees get a stipend to customize their tech set up as they want
  • Parental leave for all parents: We offer 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave plus a gradual return to work plan. This coverage is for all parents, regardless of how a child is brought into the family
  • L&D $600 stipend: We’re investing in our employees’ long term growth by giving every employee $600 per year to spend on their personal or professional development. That means conferences, courses, and books, oh my!
  • Wellness $600 stipend: We set ambitious goals and work hard to achieve them, so we believe it’s important to invest in employees’ mental and physical health. The $600 annual wellness stipend can be used for anything from therapy sessions to gym memberships

Preferred experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You can make a sharp, written argument and tell a compelling launch story. You confidently assess the state of the business, call out challenges and articulate your plans to solve them
  • 8+ years in the software industry, with direct ownership of an AI or LLM powered product in a product management or engineering leadership role. A track record of moving revenue and adoption metrics, not just shipping features
  • You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You move very fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and instinctively gravitate towards shipping today, not writing docs for tomorrow
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping agent-products - you understand tool use, planning loops, multi-step reasoning, and how and why agents fail. You have deep familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks
