The position

Job description

  • RELEX’s GTM AI team in Sales builds the AI its sellers use every day. The team works across three areas: Salesforce, which holds the record and runs the sales motion; Claude, a primary surface on which sellers work using plugins, skills and connectors; and other applications sellers use, including applications built on RELEX’s own AI platform, Cortex. This role owns Claude and AI applications outside Salesforce and is responsible for building the AI RELEX’s sellers work with every day. You’ll decide how it’s built and build it yourself as part of a team
  • Own Claude plugins, skills and connectors, how they’re organised by role, and how they’re released, supported and retired
  • Define what Claude may read and change in Salesforce and related systems, and ensure guardrails are in place
  • Design human-in-the-loop processes: what runs autonomously, what requires human involvement, and how AI sharpens seller judgment rather than flattening it
  • Ensure context portability so sellers’ working context lives in Salesforce and maintained sources rather than an edge system or local machine, avoiding context loss or significant change effort when tools change
  • Determine how Claude and other AI models can be used within Sales and Sales Operations, from Claude Managed Agents and engineering workflows to emerging models such as Jev
  • Own and develop Sales applications outside Salesforce, including Cortex applications within Sales and self-built systems outside Cortex; consult on third-party tools’ AI capabilities and how they contribute to the overall strategy and integrated ecosystem
  • Connect AI to systems around Salesforce, such as enrichment, intent data, engagement, call recording, content, quotes and signatures
  • Represent Sales needs with the AI Platform team, including what Sales needs from the platform and how Sales data reaches it with adequate security and user permissions
  • Ensure RELEX’s AI data-handling policy is applied in your areas, including what each AI may see and under whose permissions
  • Test prompts and models before release
  • Build innovative AI applications for the Sales division from a greenfield scope, and lead their architecture and development
  • Provide technical leadership in your area as a visible seat at the table
  • Keep up to date with Anthropic’s and the platform team’s roadmaps, propose new capabilities when they serve a goal, and propose retirements for what they replace

Benefits

  • Health Insurance, Occupational Health Services and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Modern offices with free snacks, drinks and a warm welcome for dogs
  • Two paid charity days every year for volunteering
  • Two paid team days every year
  • An annual bonus
  • Hybrid, office and fully remote options (hybrid and office as standard)

Preferred experience

  • Experience integrating with a system of record, such as Salesforce, through its APIs and permission model
  • Hands-on experience with cloud hosting, covering deployment, secrets, and monitoring
  • An understanding of how sellers work, and the instinct to keep people’s judgment where it adds value
  • Clear writing, e.g. for decision requests, definitions of done and documentation
  • A record of getting things done through teams you don’t manage, such as platform teams, IT, operations and sales leaders
  • A background in retail, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Experience with Claude plugins/skills/hooks, Claude Code, and Anthropic’s API or Agent SDK
  • Enough Salesforce development (APIs, connected apps, Flows) to work at the seams with our Salesforce engineer
  • Experience with data protection, e.g. permissions, data residency, and what an AI should and shouldn’t see
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript or Python
  • At least five years of building software, with significant experience building AI applications or agents running in production
  • Experience with APIs, OAuth and identity, webhooks, and Model Context Protocol
  • Experience with Sales tools across areas such as sales engagement, lead enrichment, intent, call recording, CPQ, etc
