Job Description

The Card Acceptance team at Mangopay is responsible for the infrastructure and business of online card acceptance. Our mission is to restructure and create the new infrastructure that is going to fuel the growth of Mangopay in the coming years. The delivery of the best possible card acceptance is a critical mission due to the central role card acquiring has in e-commerce.

Mission

We are looking for a Product Lead to lead the Cards Processing team at Mangopay and refurbish and scale our processing capabilities as we expand internationally. To support the ambitions of our clients we need to offer the best online payments experience. As a Product Lead you will balance country-specific developments and global card processing strategies to drive the highest conversion rates for our clients in each of the markets. This role is an exciting combination of leadership, strategic vision, steering and delivery of the roadmap, and management. This role will report into the VP Product for Cards.

What will you be responsible for?

• Leading the card processing team to extend our capabilities through 3rd party acquirer integrations
• Providing guidance and driving the team responsible to implement our 1st party processing capabilities with the licenses of Visa, Mastercard and other schemes
• Being responsible for the implementation of the new processor capabilities across the organization and the processes derived from it
• Being a known leader for online card payments, with in-depth experience and knowledge of acquiring, authorisation, tokenization, authentication, orchestration
• Actively engaging to identify the needs and challenges of our clients and turning them into added value for our cards offering
• Being data driven - using qualitative and quantitative insights to determine the right prioritization
• Driving roadmap execution through OKRs
• Establishing metrics, processes and dashboards for monitoring and evaluating the performance and success of the product and its features
• Coaching Product Managers and hiring new talent, as necessary

What do we expect from you?

• 5+ years experience in Product Management
• 5+ years experience in Fintech, and specifically in online card payments processing; you are familiar with the latest trends and developments in the card payments space
• Expert knowledge of tokenization (including Network tokens), authentication, authorization, orchestration and the players involved in the card processing chain
• Deep understanding of what impacts card payment approvals and experience in optimizing card processing performance
• Experience working with payment partners to drive value and scale
• Experience working with APIs, front-end and back-end experience, UX, Compliance, Legal, Billing
• Excellent team leadership skills with a proven track record of team management and growth
• Ownership and Leadership: you are able to form a vision and work with product, engineering and various stakeholders to bring that vision to life
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences in a simple and compelling way
• You like to get things done and are able to keep the ball rolling on your field or your stakeholder's one, sense of urgency and bias for action are familiar terms for you
