The Financial Controller for our French subsidiary will report to the Global Head of Financial and Business Controlling located in Madrid and will assist in all of the faces of Finance including but not limited to: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Support on Budgeting and Forecasting, Expense Control, Cash Management, Taxes, External Audits, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting. This position requires a very hands on approach, and is planned to grow in responsibilities as the business is expected to do.

📝 Missions

• Prepares Group Financial Reporting in time and quality;

• Prepares Annual Budget and Business Estimations in collaboration with the Management of the French subsidiary;

• Ensures proper registers of all financial transactions;

• Prepares Cash flows reports and its estimations on a weekly basis;

• Does collection and credit risk management;

• Manages the relation with the French banks; 

• Centralizes and provides information to external auditors;

• Performs administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, PO creation, etc.

• Recommends solutions to reduce expenses, increase revenue, and maximize efficiency.

• Ensures all the Global policies are put in place and respected in our French subsidiary;

• Documenting financial processes and presenting progress reports;

• Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

🎓 Profile

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance;

• Minimum 3 years of previous experience experience in accounting/finance/audit

• Solid background in accounting and/or auditing;

• Good analytical and presentation skills;

• Capable of tracking budget variations;

• Fluent in English and French

• The position is open in Paris or Madrid;
