Senior Software Engineer (React)

(Hybrid/Kraków - 1 day per week in the office)

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer within the frontend domain, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that support long-term business objectives. You will contribute as a strong individual contributor while working collaboratively with team members to address complex technical challenges and uphold engineering best practices. With a strong focus on frontend technologies and quality, you will play an important role in strengthening the technical capability and impact of your squad.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of advanced frontend solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
  • Work closely with backend engineers, product partners, and designers to clarify requirements and deliver well-crafted features.
  • Support the ongoing development of frontend architecture and help the team adopt modern technologies and practices.
  • Promote high standards in code quality, testing, and release practices to enable dependable delivery.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve development workflows, tooling, and overall product quality.
  • Actively share knowledge, foster a learning-focused team culture, and provide support to less experienced engineers through collaboration and mentoring.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, sharing updates on delivery progress, risks, and technical topics.
What you’ll bring
  • Strong experience designing and building frontend applications using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficiency with modern frameworks such as React.js and Remix, applied in modular and distributed frontend systems.
  • Good understanding of web architecture, including DNS, web servers, and support for microfrontend solutions.
  • Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and GraphQL within distributed architectures.
  • Solid knowledge of frontend testing tools such as Playwright and Jest, including testing independently deployed modules.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices, particularly in multi-application environments.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and user experience best practices across shared and standalone components.
  • Strong understanding of software and quality engineering principles, including performance, security, and scalability.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
