The position

Job description

Today we have and maintain two main Products:

  • Directory: a Legal Professional Network to democratize access to visibility and data-driven profiles for legal professionals to empower their professional success.
  • Legal Research in International Law: Facilitate access to International Legal resources and automatize the data collection.

About the Engineering Professio:
All Software Engineers are grouped inside the same Professio under the VP of Engineering.

Each Software Engineer works inside an Impact Team for inside a Legio (independent business units).

We mainly follow a Kanban/Lean paradigm cherry-picking Events or Artefacts from other methods to create our own practice, matching our own organization.

We have an Engineering Culture. And have some practical principles.

Preferred experience

What you’ll do:

  • Work in an Impact Team with the Product/Business to maximize the outcome by delivering awesome Software.
  • Ship Quality Software:

    • Unit tests
    • End2End Test
    • Risk assessment
    • etc
  • Do Architectural Proposals and a lot of RFC
  • Help and mentor people in the Team.
  • Own parts of the system (intimate understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA)
  • Challenge and help improve our overall processes.
  • Bring your whole experience.
  • Have fun while having a real impact on the world.

Who you are:

  • You are passionate about your craft and can communicate it.
  • You are trustworthy.
  • You have 5+ years in the software industry and have mastered at least part of our Tech Stack.
  • On the Shu-Ha-Ri scale, **you are between Ha and Ri (you are starting to structure your own practices).
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are climbing the slope of enlightenment (Dunning–Kruger effect)
  • You understand that serious and playful are not antonyms
