People often have distorted notions about Mystery Shopping.
Our team sets international trends and works on the development of a completely new customized tool.
I greatly appreciate working for Ipsos; mainly because I left and decided to come back after a while.
In 1992, Radek Jalůvka founded Tambor, a small research agency with a big ambition. In 2007, an international research company Ipsos noticed it, and Radek sold it the majority share of Tambor and became a co-owner and CEO of the Czech branch. It is now a part of a network with 89 offices all around the world. The Czech Ipsos HQ is in the center of Prague, and it also governs the Slovakian, Hungarian, and Austrian branches. The Czech branch is also the CE cluster. Today, it employs more than 300 people and holds sway on the market. However, do not expect piles of charts and sheets. Even you might find your place in Ipsos.
Ipsos often cooperates with other branches, most often with the European ones, but the company also has several branches in Africa, Asia, and Central and South America. Ipsos also carries out international projects and works for international clients in Prague. Communication in English is the order of the day, as well as regular meetings where the employees share their know-how. The central Prague offices currently accommodate over three hundred people, of which a couple dozen are foreigners from all over the world.
It’s hard to imagine what’s behind market research work. Besides the people working with data and numbers and preparing and evaluating surveys, Ipsos also has quite a few project managers who communicate with clients, IT specialists, and developers who take care of research platforms and software. The company performs research in the areas of services, customer satisfaction, brand, employee satisfaction, policy, advertising, etc.
Ipsos is not trying to daze people with benefits. The biggest attraction is the possibility of rapid growth and career progress. It is no exception that the skillful young employees shortly after graduation can make their way to leading teams. Ipsos knows how to work with potential. Therefore, the possibility to participate in local and global training and conferences is one of the main and most sought-after benefits. Ipsos can accommodate students with part-time contracts and employs quite a few of them. One can also be tempted by the company holiday starting on Christmas and lasting until the end of the year, meal vouchers, favorable phone contracts, or exercise sessions in the company. Do you want to ride your bike to work? No problem. Ipsos offers you cycle parking and shower facilities.
Ipsos does not simply rely on numbers, but also on shared company values and visions. They are not just written on paper, and they apply to everybody. They concern cooperation as well as the approach to clients and colleagues. Ipsos has been researching social responsibility perception in companies, non-profits, and the general public for more than 10 years. The company also carries out free surveys for non-profit organizations and tries to attend to and refine CSR. In addition, Ipsos participates in National Food Collections and holds Giving Tuesday.
