The position

Job description

  • As our in-house recruiter, you will take ownership of recruiting for several key positions across HOLOPLOT, with a particular focus on Engineering, Software, and other technical and specialist functions
  • Your main objective will be to attract, engage, and hire the right talent to support our business priorities. Working closely with hiring managers and the People & Culture team, you will drive recruitment processes from initial briefing through to offer acceptance
  • Alongside day-to-day recruiting, you will have the space to try out AI-powered tools and workflows where they make our hiring faster or better
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and specialist positions, from job briefing and sourcing to interviews, offers, and hiring decisions
  • Proactively identify, approach, and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant sourcing channels
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates based on skills, experience, and motivation
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure clear, timely communication with candidates and internal stakeholders in Berlin and the US
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions, particularly in Engineering and Software
  • Provide hiring managers with market insights, candidate feedback, and recommendations throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and manage recruitment workflows in our applicant tracking system (Personio)
  • Identify opportunities to use AI in recruiting, for example in sourcing, candidate engagement, and process automation, and help introduce the tools that prove useful
  • Continuously improve our recruiting processes, sourcing approaches, and the overall candidate experience

Benefits

  • Flat hierarchies and the opportunity to make an impact from day one
  • Company pension scheme
  • Weekly team lunch and discounted Urban 7. Sports membership
  • Relocation budget to Berlin and assistance with the visa process
  • A highly motivating environment where you can grow and learn
  • 30 days of annual leave, flexible working hours & flexible working-from-home policy
  • Modern office located on the south end of Tempelhofer Field overlooking the old airport
  • Annual budget for individual professional development

Preferred experience

  • A hands-on and proactive recruiter who enjoys connecting great talent with exciting opportunities. You have experience recruiting for technical and specialist roles, ideally in a deep tech or hardware and software environment, know how to identify and engage candidates in competitive markets, and are comfortable managing recruitment processes independently
  • You enjoy working closely with hiring managers, understand different business needs quickly, and bring a structured, pragmatic approach to recruitment. You are curious about new technologies and, ideally, already see how AI can make recruiting smarter and more efficient
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems; knowledge of Personio is a plus
  • Several years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in an in-house recruiting role or a recruitment agency
  • A structured, organised, and proactive working style, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • You are adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a dynamic and international environment
  • Confidence in managing the full recruitment lifecycle independently and handling multiple vacancies simultaneously
  • Proven experience recruiting for technical roles, particularly in Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong active sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate sourcing tools
  • Experience with AI-powered recruiting tools, or a strong interest in building it out, is a plus
  • You enjoy taking ownership, building relationships, and delivering results
  • Fluent English communication skills; German is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset

Recruitment process
