Job description
Start date: September 2027
As a Graduate Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll help develop, deploy and operate services across Graphcore’s high-performance AI infrastructure. Your work will support the systems used by internal teams and Graphcore cloud customers. We believe technology should expand human potential and make progress more accessible
You’ll write automation, investigate issues, analyse logs and metrics, and help validate AI hardware and the infrastructure around it. It’s a chance to see how Linux, networking, storage and cloud services fit together and contribute to the platforms that make large-scale AI possible
During the two-year programme, you’ll build practical experience in Linux, cloud technologies, networking, storage, observability, OpenStack , Kubernetes, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and Infrastructure-as-Code
Hands-on automation and troubleshooting will help you understand how these systems fit together and develop a methodical approach to investigating issues. You’ll learn to use logs and metrics to test your thinking and explain what you find
Working with engineers, researchers and Datacentre Operations will help you understand how platform decisions affect the people using these services and develop your technical judgement and communication skills
