Job description
At Gong, you will join a company built on innovative products, ambitious goals, and passionate people. We are shaping the future of revenue intelligence and we want people who are excited to build what comes next. You will work with a team that dreams big, moves fast, and cares deeply about the craft and about each other. Here, transparency and trust are core to how we operate, and every person has the opportunity to make a visible impact. If you want to grow, stretch, and do work that truly matters, Gong is the place to do the best work of your career
Gong’s Revenue Architects are the strategic post-sale partners who turn Gong’s AI Operating System into measurable revenue outcomes for customers. Organized today across Enterprise, Enterprise Growth, Mid-Market, Commercial, Digital, and the new Industry Expansion (IX) segment (currently focused on Financial Services and Healthcare), RA teams own adoption, value realization, and renewal and expansion across the full customer lifecycle. The function spans NAMER, EMEA, and APAC
This is a newly elevated global leadership role, created to unify strategy, execution, and accountability across all Revenue Architecture segments and regions
Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the VP of Global Revenue Architecture will lead a multi-layered organization of roughly 100 people including a VP, a team of regional and segment leaders, and the individual-contributor Revenue Architects who sit closest to customers
You will set the global strategy for how Gong drives retention and expansion across Enterprise, Enterprise Growth, Mid-Market, Commercial. Digital, and Industry Expansion, while building the leadership bench, operating rhythm, and cross-functional muscle needed to scale the function as a global, industry-aware growth engine
Lead across three regions: Own the performance, hiring, and development of a global organization of ~100 across NAMER, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring consistent standards while adapting for regional and market nuance
Set the global RA strategy: Define a single revenue transformation methodology; workflow architecture, adoption and change management, value realization, and renewal and expansion that scales consistently across Enterprise, Enterprise Growth, Mid-Market, Commercial, Digital, and IX segments
Own the numbers: Hold end-to-end accountability for gross and net revenue retention, expansion, and customer value realization across the entire Revenue Architecture book, and build the forecasting and pipeline rigor to defend those numbers to the executive team
Scale Industry Expansion (IX): Guide the build-out of the IX segment currently Financial Services and Healthcare as a ‘startup within a startup,’ developing industry-specific playbooks, automation, and self-service strategies that improve customer health and reduce churn in these verticals
Build the leadership bench: Coach and develop all layers of regional and segment leaders beneath them; own succession planning and career pathing so the org can keep scaling without you in every room
Represent RA at the executive level: Act as an escalation point and strategic partner on the largest, highest-risk, and highest-opportunity accounts, engaging directly with customer C-suite and VP stakeholders alongside your leaders
Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales, Product, Support, Marketing, and other CCO-org peers to ensure Revenue Architecture strategy is embedded in the broader customer journey, and that RA insights shape product and GTM priorities
Drive operating cadence: Establish the global rhythm of business in QBRs, forecasting, performance reviews, and org health check-ins that keeps a distributed, multi-region team aligned and accountable
